To exemplify Human Resources values by reviewing current policies and procedures and providing strategic direction for HR to the Society.
To collaborate with internal departments and service units to assess, create, and implement effective HR strategies that align with the organization’s mission and five-year strategic plan.
To manage and ensure the efficient operation of various HR functions, including manpower planning and control, recruitment, compensation and benefits, pay and reward systems, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations.
To develop and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure they reflect best practices and comply with legal standards.
To offer professional advice and support to Senior Management and the Board regarding overall HR planning, strategies, and execution.
To create and implement training strategies focused on organizational and talent development.
To oversee the HRIS system and lead related IT projects.
To prepare and present documentation for meetings within the HR committee.
To undertake any ad hoc projects or additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
Degree holder or above in Human Resources Management or equivalent
At least 8 years of HR experience at managerial level, preferably in sizable organizations;
Proven records of success in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies;
A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong management and organization skills, flexible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Understanding of NGO operations including government funding and staff issues; exposure in a non-profit setting will be an advantage;
