Responsibilities:

• Perform settlement operations for Hong Kong and overseas securities, derivatives products, funds, bonds and structured products ensuring efficient processes
• Check all trades, and prepare reports and client statements on a daily basis
• Handle CCASS Operations
• Manage IPO applications, allocation of shares, and processing of refunds
• Ensure all processing transactions are in compliance with Company policies and regulations
• Liaise with external counter-parties and internal departments to resolve issues
• Enhancing operational procedures and improving existing systems
• Participate in UAT of new systems and systems upgrades
• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• • A holder of a Degree in Finance or related disciplines

  • Experienced in securities settlement operations 5-8 years

  • Able to work overtime, holiday shifts and work independently under pressure

  • Detail-minded, independent, initiative and willing to learn

  • Good PC knowledge including MS Excel and MS Word

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)

  • A candidate with less experience and willing to take up the role as Assistant Settlement Manager
