Our client, a leading insurer, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support their financial reporting team with the IFRS 17 project.

Responsibilities:

* Participate IFRS17 project
* Prepare and analyse finance and accounting related IFRS 17 deliverable throughout the project
* Create and review enhancement of business requirement document in terms of data input, process flow and system requirements to support IFRS 17 account posting and reporting
* Develop UAT test cases based on business requirement document, system enhancement and new application deployments
* Supervise and support business analysts and vendors for IFRS 17 account posting and reporting during testing and parallel run phases

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or related disciplines
* At least 4 years of experience in IFRS 17 finance/financial reporting within the insurance sector
* Candidates from Big 4 firms with an insurance audit background are welcome
* Knowledge of IFRS 17 is a must
* Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Smart, self-driven individual with a proactive attitude
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
