Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain management for crucial components like zippers, buckles, fabrics, and RFID materials

• Manage new color development and maintain uniform coloration across product lines

• Identify and qualify new suppliers to drive innovation, reduce costs, and meet sustainability targets

• Work closely with third-party manufacturers to ensure timely component delivery and resolve supply challenges

• Monitor stock levels and forecast component needs based on sales projections and production plans

• Cultivate resilient supplier relationships to mitigate risks and enhance supply chain performance.

• Secure optimal pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to maximize value and minimize costs

• Collaborate with Product Development and Quality teams to meet component specifications

• Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs, reporting tools, and risk mitigation strategies

• Uphold compliance with environmental and ethical sourcing standards throughout the supply chain

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement, ideally in consumer goods or fashion accessories

• Familiarity with third-party manufacturers in Asia is highly valued for this role

• Demonstrate excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management abilities

• Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain software, and Adobe Illustrator

• Excel in cross-functional collaboration and communication.

• Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and material compliance (e.g., REACH, OEKO-TEX, PFAS requirements) is preferred

• Familiarity with travel gear or soft goods manufacturing is advantageous

• Proficiency in English is required, with Mandarin or Cantonese skills being a plus to facilitate communication with Asian partners

• Prior experience in the backpack industry is preferred but not mandatory
