Responsibilities:

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Prepare and maintain cost plans, feasibility studies and budget forecasts for residential projects.
                                  • Provide detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for tendering and procurement.
                                  • Manage tender processes, evaluate contractor bids, and recommend award strategies.
                                  • Administer construction contracts and manage variations, claims and contractual correspondence.
                                  • Monitor cost control throughout pre-construction and construction phases; track cost changes and report to stakeholders.
                                  • Prepare regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete analyses for senior management.
                                  • Conduct cost risk assessments and support value engineering initiatives to optimise project cost and programme.
                                  • Liaise with design teams, consultants and contractors to resolve commercial and technical issues.
                                  • Ensure final account settlement and support project handover activities.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
                                • RICS or HKIS membership (required).
                                • Minimum 15 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with a developer in Hong Kong on residential projects.
                                • Proven experience across pre-construction cost planning, procurement, contract administration and final accounts.
                                • Exposure to overseas projects is a plus.
                                • Strong knowledge of standard construction contracts and procurement routes used in Hong Kong.
                                • Excellent commercial acumen, analytical and numerical skills.
                                • Outstanding communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
                                • Effective team leadership and people management skills; able to mentor junior staff.
                                • Professional, proactive and solutions-focused with strong attention to detail.
                                • Fluency in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
