Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the trims and accessories business in Mainland China, with a focus on fashion, sportswear, lingerie, denim, and casual wear brands.
Proactively identify, approach, and secure new customers in China (brand owners, retailers, buying offices, trading companies), expanding the local client portfolio.
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing key accounts in China, understanding their design, pricing, and lead‑time requirements and providing professional support.
Work closely with design, product development, and production teams in China and other Asian locations to follow through from sampling to bulk orders.
Coordinate with regional sales teams in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and other Asian hubs to align account strategies and cross‑border projects.
Monitor China market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for the China market.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree (or Advanced Diploma) in Business, Marketing, Textiles, or related disciplines.
3–5 years’ sales experience in trims, accessories, garment manufacturing, or related B2B sectors; more experience will be considered for Sales Manager.
Solid understanding of Mainland China fashion / apparel ecosystem and customer buying behaviour.
Independent, proactive, results‑driven, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with brand owners and buying offices.
Strong analytical mindset and good command of Excel and other business tools.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written); Cantonese is an advantage.
Willing to travel within Mainland China when required.
