Responsibilities:

    • Safety Management: Support the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures for all maintenance and renovation projects.
    • Risk Assessment: Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
    • Training: Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for staff and subcontractors, promoting a safety-first culture on-site.
    • Incident Investigation: Participate in investigations of safety incidents, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as company policies.
    • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and compliance audits. Prepare reports for management review.
    • Independent Work: Work independently to manage safety activities across multiple sites, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
                                        •  

                                          • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety management, specifically in maintenance and renovation projects.
                                          • Certification: Registered Safety Officer certification is required.
                                          • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
                                          • Independence: Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions regarding safety compliance and risk management.
                                          • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and construction industry standards.
                                          • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to address safety concerns proactively.
