Responsibilities:

• • Prepare BOQs / cost plans and support estimating for MEP scopes (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, etc.).
  • Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Produce and maintain commercial schedules, valuations, and cost updates.
  • Support tendering activities including subcontractor enquiries, pricing reviews, and bid comparisons.
  • Review subcontractor quotations and identify scope gaps and cost risks.
  • Manage variation/change assessment processes (claims, substantiation, pricing, and negotiation).
  • Assist in contract administration, including progress valuations and final accounts support.
  • Track project cost performance using established commercial procedures and systems.
  • Collaborate with design, project management, and delivery teams to support value, risk, and cost control.

                                        • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (minimum required level depends on experience).
                                        • MEP background is essential (ideally direct cost/measurement experience on MEP packages).
                                        • Strong knowledge of MEP cost drivers, measurement, and estimating principles.
                                        • Experience with drawings/specifications review and producing accurate take-offs.
                                        • Familiarity with contract and commercial processes (variations, valuations, claims).
                                        • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to non-commercial stakeholders.
                                        • Availability to work on a contract basis and meet project timelines.
