Responsibilities:
Supplier Management: Source, select, and manage suppliers through negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation (KPIs).
Market and Cost Analysis: Strong data analysis for market trends, cost analysis, and performance metrics.
Cost Control: Compare quotes, analyze costs, negotiate aggressively, and plan budgets to secure the best prices and achieve cost-saving targets.
Order Fulfillment: Issue purchase orders and diligently track shipments to ensure materials arrive on time to meet production schedules.
Problem Resolution: Quickly address material quality or delivery issues with suppliers to prevent production line disruptions.
Strategy & Process: Support the development of purchasing strategies, optimize procurement systems, and stay updated on market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., PMC, production, logistics) and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with engineering on component selection and sourcing alternatives.
Supervisory duties, leading teams, developing strategic purchasing plans, and having greater responsibility for budgeting and vendor relationship management.
Lead contract negotiations and secure long-term agreements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Willing to stay in DG factory in 3 days and travel to supplier sites or industry events.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. Familiarity with electronic/mechanical components is a plus.
Supervising a purchasing team or leading procurement projects.
Skills Required:

Analytical and strategic thinking for cost analysis and market insight.
Leadership: Ability to mentor, train, and manage a purchasing team.
Negotiation: Strong persuasive and communication skills for contracts and pricing.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, quality, logistics, and production teams
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Fluency in Putonghua and English (written and verbal) is required.
