Full Time

Responsibilities:

          • Lead and manage safety for residential construction projects across Hong Kong, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company standards.
          • Develop, implement and maintain the company safety management system, site safety plans, method statements and risk assessments.
          • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks and incident investigations; implement corrective and preventive actions.
          • Prepare and maintain clear, high-quality safety documentation: inspection reports, incident reports, safety statistics and management reports.
          • Coordinate and communicate closely with project managers, contract teams, design teams, contractors and corporate stakeholders to integrate safety into planning and execution.
          • Review contractors’ safety proposals and performance; support pre-qualification and tender evaluation from a safety perspective.
          • Deliver and oversee safety training programs and competency assessments for staff and subcontractors.
          • Monitor safety KPIs and produce regular reports for senior management; recommend improvements to systems and processes.
          • Represent the company in meetings with regulators, auditors and third parties as required.
Requirements
                                        •  

                                          • Minimum 12 years’ relevant construction safety experience, with substantial exposure to residential projects in Hong Kong.
                                          • Hold valid Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) and Registered Safety Officer (RSO) qualifications in Hong Kong.
                                          • Proven experience at corporate level — able to translate corporate policies into practical site-level implementation and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
                                          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
                                          • Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail.
                                          • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management / inspection software.
