Responsibilities

• Supervising and work with teammates to maintain a high level of daily operation and efficiency

• Monitor and follow through compete process from material sourcing, development, costing negotiation, time & action calendar order placement, material purchasing and production to shipments

• Monitor the performance & capacity of the overseas production facilities and ensure to meet with customer’s requirement

• Oversee daily development / production activities and resolve any issue or risk, lead the team to ensure timely sampling or shipment delivery

• Identify and onboard new suppliers, conducting due diligence and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies

• Proactively address operational and quality challenges, implement improvement strategies, and collaborate with the QA team to resolve quality issues

• Work closely with buyers and other teams within the group to ensure smooth workflow

• Supervise subordinate and provide guidance to ensure task completion, team collaboration, and professional development

• Conduct cost analysis for sales forecasting, price setting and material purchase

• Expand and develop partnership with existing & potential customers

• Frequent travel to offshore facilities is required

• Provide business review, KPI and supplier action plan for management review

• Under take ad-hoc project assigned by the management

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 and above training of Textiles & Clothing or related disciplines

• At least 10 years working experience in manufacturing & garment industry, solid working experience in factory is necessary

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managerial position

• Familiarity with fabric, garment testing and sustainability certificate

• Proficient in computer skill, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP and power point.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and time management skill

• Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively

• Fluent in English. Mandarin and Cantonese (written and spoken)

• Immediate available is preferred

• Less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandising Manager
