• To develop, update, enhance and maintain website(s) and relevant database(s);

• To design, update and enhance promotional materials and publish them on websites;

• To assist in photo and video taking and editing for the Section;

• To provide daily support services including enhancement, contents update and bugs fix/mitigating for the websites and mobile app and to plan, co-ordinate, implement and manage vendors/HKEdCity on various IT projects and activities of the Section;

• To update and maintain inventory records of computer hardware, perform physical checks and assist in their procurement including handling of quotations and collection/handling of disposal equipment, and provide professional advice on software product evaluation

• To assist in the Security Risk Assessment and Audit, tackling IT security issues and handling IT-related returns;

• To leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve work efficiency, enhance data analysis and support decision-making to meet departmental operational needs

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent;

• At least 5 years' post-qualification experience related to application development/maintenance

• Good knowledge and programming skills in the latest web technologies, including JAVA Script, PHP etc. are required

• Good knowledge and experience in web/mobile application development are required;

• Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PC hardware & software support are required;

• Experience in Linux and knowledge and hands-on experience in databases, including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server are required;

• Experience in IT procurement is required;

• Good knowledge in using AI tools to automate tasks, analyses data, or streamline workflows are preferred
