Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project plans, defining scope, tasks, deliverables, and timelines while ensuring the highest quality of outcomes.
Establish and maintain robust project governance and control frameworks, preparing regular progress reports and maintaining meticulous records for management review.
Effective management of project budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships.
Lead the design and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies, fostering strong collaborative relationships with government agencies, NGOs, industry partners, and community leaders.
Continuous monitoring of project activities to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, alongside proactive risk identification and mitigation.
Oversight on impact assessments and data analysis to inform project adjustments and measure success.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in managing complex projects, ideally within the social sector. The ideal individual will be highly organised, an excellent communicator, and possess a strong desire to contribute to community-focused work.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in project management or the social services sector required at Manager level and 10 years' experience with 5 years at a managerial level for Senior Manager.
Bachelor's degree is required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects involving diverse stakeholders, including government bodies and/or non-profit organisations.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget monitoring and procurement.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels in both English and Cantonese.
A strong passion for social impact and community development is essential.
