Lead IT infrastructure projects: Plan, design, and implement systems for the new data centre, ensuring smooth integration with existing infrastructure.
Enhance IT security: Oversee the rollout of advanced security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention, and threat detection systems.
Maintain daily operations: Ensure reliable IT services, monitor system health, and manage incidents and problems.
Support modernization: Drive adoption of modern architectures (e.g., microservices, container-based systems) and consolidate server infrastructure
Collaborate across teams: Work with IT and user departments on service development, integration, migration, and rollouts.
Advise senior management: Provide strategic input on IT infrastructure and future technology directions.
Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
At least 11 years' experience in IT industry
Proven experience in Enterprise server hosting, advanced high performance storage systems and related management, in particular, storage area network (SAN), network attached storage (NAS), server and storage virtualisation, multi-tenant hosting arrangement, application delivery systems, IT patch management system management;
Proven experience inEnterprise core network, campus network and remote site network related management, in terms of both WAN and LAN management, in particular, resilient network design and network and application flow visualisation and management; and
Proven experience in IT system management and monitoring, fast recovery backup services management, in particular, IT security systems and services such as Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Advanced Persistence Threat (APT) management system, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
