Analyse market trends and consumer insights, then partner closely with sales teams to identify opportunities that increase revenue and improve profit margins
Lead the merchandising team across the full supply chain and product management cycle — including pricing, production capacity planning, shipment scheduling and stock optimisation — to maintain continuous competitiveness
Build and manage relationships with vendors and business partners to secure favourable trading terms and reliable supply arrangements
Drive new product identification and maintain disciplined inventory control across the snacks, confectionery and ice-cream brand portfolio
Develop strong working partnerships with brand stakeholders to ensure merchandising plans and promotional activities are executed smoothly and on time
Act as the key link between vendors and the sales function, aligning expectations with overall commercial strategy
Handle ad-hoc projects and other duties as required
Requirements
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years’ merchandising experience within the FMCG or retail sector
Food industry sales experience and key account management exposure will be a strong advantage
Prior China merchandising or sales experience is a plus
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
