Responsibilities:

                                    • Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and continuously review comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems and policies in compliance with statutory requirements.
                                    • Site Oversight: Oversee site safety teams, conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring prompt implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
                                    • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for safety matters with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and government authorities (e.g., Labor Department, EPD).
                                    • Culture & Training: Cultivate a proactive safety mindset across all levels of site staff and subcontractors through targeted training, safety promotional activities, and regular tool-box talks.
                                    • Reporting: Prepare detailed safety performance reports, analysis, and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders.
Requirements
                                        •  

                                          • Qualifications: Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) with the Labor Department of Hong Kong.
                                          • Education: Degree or Higher Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
                                          • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of solid safety management experience in the construction industry, specifically working with Main Contractors on large-scale Building Projects.
                                          • Project Exposure: Proven track record in managing new build or major refurbishment projects.
                                          • Preferred Advantages:
                                            • Direct experience managing Hospital / Healthcare construction projects (highly preferred).
                                            • Familiarity with Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) procedures, specifications, and green marking schemes.
                                            • Solid experience navigating Government / Public Sector contracts and compliance metrics.
                                          • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to influence site behavior and manage relationships with demanding clients.
                                          • Language: Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
