Executive Summary

Our client is a Beijing-headquartered semiconductor company focused on display driver ICs, with over 1,000 employees worldwide. This is a newly created Hong Kong role to help launch and build local operations.

Role Scope

The first Hong Kong hire will report to Beijing, support office set-up, and act as the local business representative for clients in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Europe. Initially, the role will be based from home while handling local coordination and setup.

Major Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze display chip market trends.

• Track client product plans and project roadmaps.

• Coordinate technical exchanges between clients and engineering teams.

• Support customer design wins and mass production ramp-up.

• Consolidate market insights for new product planning.

• Lead Hong Kong office sourcing, setup, and administration.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Strong knowledge of display driver ICs and the market.

• Hong Kong Permanent Resident.

• Existing network in the display or semiconductor industry across Japan, Korea, Taiwan, or Europe.

• Experience at a panel manufacturer, or as FAE/PM in an IC company.

• Able to work independently and build local operations.
