Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing process according to established procedures and policies, including proper documentation and solicitation of competitive quotations for goods and services from approved suppliers

• Monitor and handles the supply and delivery process of duly approved purchases to vessels

• Liaise closely with Technical Team for optimum supply chain operation in accordance with the ships’ needs

• Coordinate with the technical team, vessels, and vendors to resolve the invoice query with the invoice processing team

• Update orders and distribute supply status in procurement system daily

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Must have one year buyer experience in Shipping Industry (Ship Management / Ship owner)

• Good administration skills and familiar with Microsoft Office.

• Good command of written and spoken English with strong communication skills 

• Good Priority setting 

• Attentive to details
