OL最愛台式飲品 唔好以為「走甜」就等於冇糖

相信不少打工仔中午吃飯時都會買被奶茶「提神」,有的打工仔為了健康因素於下單時,要求店舖去糖或走甜,以避免攝入過多糖分,但
消委會測試顯示所謂不加糖的樣本,糖分不一定較少。

消委會表示,一般來說,不加糖樣本的糖含量均較原味樣本少,其中,茉莉綠茶每100克的平均糖含量更可減99%,不過,加入濃縮果汁、蜜糖或果汁糖漿的樣本,例如百香果紅茶、蜂蜜綠茶等,由於必需使用的原材料本身已含糖,所以即使要求不加糖,亦只能減少用來調節飲品甜度的糖或減少該原材料的分量,糖含量減幅有限,以百香果紅茶為例,不加糖樣本每100 克平均減少17%糖,每杯所含的糖分仍達每日游離糖攝取上限的6成。


另外,普遍打工仔最愛的珍珠奶茶內的珍珠,亦是糖分和能量的重要來源10款珍珠奶茶不加糖樣本抽出的珍珠作測試,發現每分珍珠的糖含量由1.1克至11克不等,差距達9倍,最高的樣本等同每日游離糖攝取上限的22%,證明業界在採購或烹調材料時有空間改善;另外,珍珠的能量值亦不容忽視。

相對而言,如選擇「不加糖」的芝士奶蓋/奶蓋綠茶及茉莉綠茶,由於糖含量主要來自用以調節飲品甜度而添加的糖,去除這些糖後,其糖含量及攝入量便可大大減少。

消委會建議消費者選擇糖含量較少的飲品,並應盡量選擇「不加糖」或「少糖」配方;應留意飲品的分量,選擇分量較少的飲品或與人分享;小心選擇添加的配料,應留意配料會否增加飲品的糖含量和能量值。另外,業界亦應檢視飲品的預設調製配方,並選用較低糖/脂肪含量的配料,例如採用不含糖分的綠茶粉,讓消費者可選擇糖的分量,或選擇用脫脂牛奶代替奶精。
