打工仔「畀住先」成日常 近半員工每年墊支$5,000 有人等足三星期先拎到錢

全球金融及支付平臺 Airwallex 最新研究指出,香港打工仔普遍需要為公司先行支付工作相關費用,部分金額更高得令人咋舌。調查訪問 500 名本地員工,結果顯示近半受訪者每年需墊付高達 5,000 元工作開支;三成三受訪者的年墊支更達 1.5 萬元。當中有五個百分比的員工透露,要在報銷前先付超過 2 萬元,金額與香港最新月入中位數相若,對不少人而言絕非輕鬆。

 

市場推廣、公關及廣告行業最受影響

研究亦反映,不同行業面對的墊支壓力落差頗大,其中以市場推廣、公關及廣告行業最為嚴重,半數受訪者表示一年要墊支高達 2 萬元。法律服務行業緊隨其後,有三成三員工面對類似負擔;金融業亦有兩成三表示不時需墊上較高金額。由於上述行業涉及大量客戶活動、社交場合及出差安排,開支往往由員工先行承擔,形成沉重壓力。

 

 

報銷流程緩慢 員工財務受拖累

除金額高企外,冗長的報銷流程亦令不少打工仔感到吃力。調查指出,超過三分之一受訪者需等候三星期或以上方可完成報銷。有員工因等錢太耐而動用個人儲蓄,也有人依靠信用卡先頂住開銷,最終需要支付額外利息。調查更顯示,有一成二的員工因不想再墊支而選擇缺席公司活動或出差,而接近兩成受訪者曾因公司報銷制度繁複而考慮離職,其中五個百分比最終真的選擇辭職。

 

專家建議企業提升報銷效率

Airwallex 亞太區總經理陳君洋表示,若企業能簡化開支管理流程,不但能紓緩員工的財務壓力,亦有助公司提升整體效率。他指,透過即時報銷、即時支出管理,以及與會計平臺無縫接軌的工具,企業無論在本地或海外營運均能表現更靈活有效。陳君洋認為,改善報銷制度有助減少員工煩惱,亦能提升企業吸引力及留才能力。
